We do Life Together

Loving Support for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

First United Methodist Church-Bastrop welcomes people from the Deaf community. We are committed to providing people who are Deaf with a meaningful worship experience.

Our 11:00 o’clock worship service is interpreted in ASL for the Deaf on the 1st, 3rd, and 5thSundays of each month.

We currently have 2 Deaf members and we would love to have you join us for worship.

For questions contact the church by email:  office@FUMCBastrop.org  or 512-321-2201.

Adorned with the only pipe organ in the area and surrounded by stained glass windows from Italy, the sanctuary is home to both traditional services.  We still sing out of hymnals and the pastor wears vestments.  You are welcome to follow along with readings and the Lord's teachings, so bring your bible with you or use one of ours.
