Services cancelled until further notice due to Coronavirus.

FUMC Bastrop wants to ensure the safety and health of all who attend our Church. Therefore, the decision has been made to close our Church until further notice, because of the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. Our services are being recorded and loaded to our YouTube channel

(FUMC Bastrop Texas for you to view during this time. We will keep you updated as we continue to monitor the professional's directives for the virus. We are saddened that we are not able to worship as a community for the time being, but we know Christ remains with us at all times – specifically in times of worry like this.

We are glad  you visited our website today. "First United Methodist Church of Bastrop is commisioned by God's grace to be disciples for Jesus Christ and to exemplify His loving Spirit throughout our community." Take a look around and let us know if you have any questions. We will be more than happy to help you. Services are interpreted in ASL for the Deaf on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month.

Doing Life Together. Come as you are!

Jesus calls us to go forth and minister to others. Our church is active in the Bastrop Community. Take a look at what is going on at the church.

Come and hang out with our Youth Group! They have their own special meeting place called the Lodge. The youth take mission trips and host their own service once a month.

We offer services with different types of music. We have traditional services and a praise service. We have bells, bass and organ music. Our music ministry is always on the edge of what's new and uplifting.
